Your needs and goals are as unique as you are. We all live in our bodies differently; how we treat them should reflect that distinction. Just as there is no one-size-fits-all approach to how we live our lives there is also no one way or method to find balance. Massage Spot LA operates differently than other massage establishments. If you are looking for passive cookie-cutter treatments and body-work routines, you won’t find it here.
As a multi-state licensed massage therapist working in the field since 2011, I have worked in massage & bodywork, and the wellness industry as a health coach from various angles. From providing massage in high-volume studios & clinics to upscale health club spas; events, races, gyms, and for the duration of my career in private practice with a focus on chronic stress & pain management, I have learned a lot.
The common thread in all this experience has been that customized treatment that evolves with each of us and our needs is the most effective.
Rather than give you a menu of modalities and types of treatment to try to fit into a box and limit your session and results, like a salad bar, all the ingredients I have are available to you each session. Before the start of each session (intake), even with a treatment plan defined, we will discuss what you are seeking from the session and ensure alignment with your overall goals. Together we build your session from all the ingredients you want or need at the time of service. I may make recommendations and explain them, you choose what you want on your session plate. Afterward, (both, immediately after your current session & before your next session) we check in about how the treatment impacts your progress toward your goals and the effectiveness before determining our next actions.

I do NOT expect monetary gratuity. While we all certainly use money in our lives, I do not depend on tipping in my practice. I set my own rates and practice in a way that is true to myself. If you wish to express appreciation for our work together, one of the biggest acts of gratitude you can express is sharing.
