Hi, I'm Steven Friedler! I’ve been a licensed massage therapist since 2005, and I’m glad you found me—especially if you’re dealing with chronic pain. I bring nearly 20 years of experience working with clients in wellness and physical therapy spaces. My focus is helping my clients move better, feel better, improve their posture, and stay active—without relying on painkillers, injections, or surgery—through Myofascial Release Therapy by addressing the root cause of their pain.
Discovering the John Barnes Myofascial Release Approach changed my life and the way I treat my clients. It helped me recover from 10 years of chronic low back pain and completely transformed the way I practice. I realized this was the missing link in healthcare—and I knew I had to share it.
Fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds everything in your body, can develop tight spots or adhesions that pull on distant areas—like a twisted sweater tugging in distant places. By gently releasing these restrictions, the “straightjacket effect” that keeps you stuck in pain is lifted, allowing your body to move freely again. Many clients are surprised to find their headaches or neck pain actually start in the pelvis!
My sessions blend Myofascial Release with gentle neuromuscular techniques I learned working in physical therapy settings. Together, they help your body heal naturally and enhance other treatments like physical therapy, chiropractic care, or acupuncture.
