Julie Kessler, LMT, specializes in massage techniques designed to help eliminate deep full body and site specific muscle tightness, muscle "knots", inflexibility, immobility, chronic headaches, TMJ syndrome, sciatica pain, scar build up from past injuries and many other symptoms exacerbated by poor muscle functioning.  

She specializes in techniques that "untangle" trapped muscle fibers from fascial matting to improve range of motion, flexibility and overall performance.   She works with sports and office related injuries such as: golfer's/tennis elbow, rotator cuff strains, hamstring pulls, piriformis tightness, TMJ, migraines, sciatic problems and plantar fasciitis to name a few.  

She offers effective assisted stretching sessions to help increase muscle movement, flexibilty and to rebalance unbalanced muscle pairs.

Julie was a middle school science teacher for many years and decided to continue making an impact on society outside the classroom by becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist.  Julie uses a combination of massage techniques to decrease the pain you are feeling, as pain is a warning signal. She listens to your symptoms to identify the true source of the pain so she can guide, listen, retrain, and help strengthen jammed up, overstretched, exhausted, or immobile muscles.

Julie is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and the Connecticut Sports Massage Therapy Team.
