A popular question among my clients is always "what made you decide to be a massage therapist?" Well, I was a stay-at-home mom for 7 years and when my youngest was ready to enter school I decided it was time to re-enter the workforce. Knowing that I did not want to return to an office cubicle, a dear friend of mine suggested I become a massage therapist so I could take care of her back! A Google search and 7 months of night school classes later I was a certified massage therapist and absolutely LOVE my job!
Fast forward to 2025 and the love of my profession must be contagious because I now have a Family Business! My son Kimon Haldas graduated and has become a Licensed Massage Therapist and will be sharing office space with me at Wellbeing on Main!! I am just over the moon excited to have him working with me!
Since graduation in January 2010 from the National Massage Therapy Institute in Wilmington De. I have earned certifications in Precision Neuromuscular techniques, Facial Release and Myofacial Release. And also have had training in Deep Tissue and Trigger Point therapies. My most unique training is in Ashiatsu Bar massage, which is using foot pressure to achieve one of the deepest most relaxing massages you will ever experience! I have also had training in Japanese Facial massage and Table Thai massage.
Through massage, client education of muscular health and stress reducing techniques, I will give my clients the means for a healthier, happier and more comfortable life.
