Because Movement is Life
As a Rolfer I look holistically at
movement and function, with a focus on Fascia and connective tissue
which balance tension and movement through your entire body (along with your nervous system). My education at the Rolf Institute taught me how and where to find the meaningful
restrictions in fascia and soft tissue which can often significantly
affect peoples movement, function, and pain levels. If you are struggling to be active and get back to a more functional version of yourself then you are in the right place. While I am happy to do individual fix it sessions, Rolfing at it's heart however is not about fixing problems, it is about human potential.
Rolfing is cumulative process. In a ten
series every session builds on the progress of the last, improving different aspects of movement and ease in your body. This
work presents a unique opportunity. We are able to unwind complicated layers of
disorder in soft tissue that may not respond to other more symptom focused modalities. By leaving
the problem focused approach behind and simply working to bring
everything into an ideal balance and function we move from merely
alleviating symptoms to helping people reach their full potential
while developing a better connection with and understanding of their
body and how to live sustainably. Rolfing is an opportunity to
invest in your self and in your active future, or to perhaps find the missing piece that has been holding you back from living life to the fullest.
Late afternoon or early evening sessions may be booked by contacting me directly, but will usually require a week or two notice so that I can shift my schedule accordingly.
