Ebb, flow & heal
ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS (male clients by referral only)
Hello! I’m Sara, the owner of Ebb & Flow Bodywork, a home-based practice offering customized, therapeutic, trauma-informed bodywork for women seeking relationship based care. My work is rooted in a deeply client centered approach. I listen closely to your needs, respect your boundaries, and never push your body beyond what feels safe or appropriate. Communication is the cornerstone of my practice, and each session is guided by collaboration, consent, and trust. My goal is to help you feel capable, supported, and deeply connected to your body.
What Makes Ebb & Flow Bodywork Different
Ebb & Flow Bodywork offers one on one care with an experienced bodyworker who understands that pain, stress, and tension are often shaped by the seasons of life we move through. My work is especially supportive for those navigating:
- Major life transitions
- Pregnancy & postpartum
- Navigating loss or grief
- Perimenopause & menopause
- Chronic pain
- Ongoing stress and nervous system overwhelm
Rather than one off sessions or quick fixes, my approach focuses on consistent therapeutic care that allows trust to build over time and creating lasting change in the body.
A Trauma-Informed, Nervous System Focused Approach
Your body doesn’t need to be pushed, it needs to feel safe. Each session is guided by a trauma-informed lens and designed to support nervous system regulation while addressing pain patterns and soft tissue tension. Treatments are always adapted to what your body is ready for on that day. I use a thoughtful blend of modalities, including:
- Therapeutic massage techniques
- Myofascial techniques
- Guided breathing and nervous system support
- Gentle stretching
- Intentional, grounded touch
- Heated scraping and cupping therapy
These tools help warm the tissues, increase circulation, and prepare your body to receive deeper, longer lasting work that supports both immediate relief and long-term wellness. If you’re seeking aggressive or fast paced work, my approach may not be the right fit. I prioritize communication, honor your boundaries, and aim to help you feel safe, supported, and more at home in your body. I believe everyone deserves to feel good in their body.
What Length Session Is Best for Me?
60 Minutes
Ideal for targeted work on one or two specific areas.
Not recommended for full body sessions.
90 Minutes
Ideal for a full body experience or more in depth, focused work.
Membership-Based Care
My membership program is designed to support long-term healing through consistent care. Members receive preferred pricing, priority booking, and the ease of having their sessions scheduled in advance. This removes the stress of last minute booking and ensuring your body receives the care it needs on a regular rhythm that works for you. If you’re curious whether a membership is the right fit, please contact me directly and I'll add you to a waitlist. Membership spots are limited.
Licensing Disclaimer
I'm licensed massage therapist in the state of Hawaii. In Massachusetts, I focus exclusively on bodywork rather than massage therapy. This distinction ensures clarity about the services I provide.
IMPORTANT POLICIES ✨ (please read before booking)
First, thank you so much for being here and trusting me with your care. This space is something I’ve created with intention for both you and me. As a self-employed bodyworker, if I’m not in session, I’m not getting paid. These policies help protect my time, energy, and ability to continue showing up fully for my clients. Here’s what you need to know:
CANCELLATION POLICY
I respectfully ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any rescheduling or cancellation requests. If you cancel without providing at least 24 hours’ notice, I am often unable to fill that appointment time. With that being said, if you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, the card on file will be charged 50% of the service booked. For members, you will keep your credit, but your card will still be charged 50% of the service booked. Failure to pay will prohibit you from booking any future visits at Ebb & Flow Bodywork. I understand that emergencies can arise and illnesses can occur at inopportune times. If you have a cough, fever, known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment, please cancel your session. Your card on file will be charged 50% of the service booked.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Recurring clients, I ask that you arrive a few minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to settle in, use the restroom, and have a brief check in. I understand that situations may arise that cause you to be late. If this happens, please notify me via text so I can do my best to accommodate you. Arriving late may result in a shortened session so that your appointment still ends at the scheduled time. Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival. In return, I will do my best to remain on time. If I am running late, I will either add time to your session or adjust the service charge accordingly.
NO SHOW POLICY
Please keep in mind that I will not consider you a no show if you call to tell me you won’t be able to make your appointment before your scheduled start time. This would be considered a late cancellation & you will only be charged 50% of the service(s) booked. If you do not show up to your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 100% of the total price of the service booked. Failure to pay will prohibit you from booking any future visits at Ebb & Flow Bodywork.
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR POLICY
Bodywork is intended for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. Any sexual insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request will result in the immediate termination of your session and refusal of any future services. Full service fees will be charged, regardless of session length. Please treat your bodyworker with respect and dignity, and you will be treated the same in return.
BOOKING POLICY
New Clients: Online booking is required for all new clients. You must save a card on file and pay a 50% deposit of the service booked to book an appointment. You will have the option to prepay in full, but it is not required. The remaining balance will be due after your session. Payment can be made by card, cash, or Venmo.
Recurring Clients: You may book online, in person, or via text. Booking is not available over the phone. All clients are required to have a card on file at all times. Payment can be made by card, cash, or Venmo.
Members: Your credit will be applied at checkout. If no credits are available, the card on file will be charged unless otherwise specified.
AGREEMENT POLICY
Please do not book if you don’t agree with these policies. You’ll be required to agree and sign to all the policies listed above on your intake form prior to your initial appointment.
