William is an E-RYT with thousands of teaching hours logged over 10+ years in the Triangle. He helps with various yoga teacher trainings and workshops abroad. Upon graduating from the Body Therapy Institute in 2015, he went on to specialize in various Physical Therapies pioneered by John F. Barnes.
William has received incalculable guidance from the founders of Apex Retreat - Jason Atkins and Fernanda Santiago. Some common threads in the massage community brought William on board the staff of the Healing Arts and Massage school in Raleigh.
He continues to believe in the work and remain a student by receiving treatments weekly for over 20 years. In treatment, William tends to employ and enjoy a therapeutic blend of Myofascial Release, Thai bodywork, and Craniosacral therapy. Although we are always just as happy to dig at some roots at first to ultimately refer to a colleague.
When he is not teaching classes or yoga trainings, you can find him playing chess and having tea parties with his daughter. In practice on the mat or in treatment, our hope is to cultivate a space that fosters curiosity and radical self acceptance.
