I became interested in massage when I realized I could help many people live life to their fullest by sharing my passion of massage with them. I LOVE being able to make a significant difference in a person's ability to feel human, in a relatively short time on my table. When a client exclaims to their friends that they can now lift their leg, tie their shoe, or walk without pain, I am fulfilled!
I attended Bio-Chi Institute of Massage Therapy, located in Sioux City, IA. I am certified in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Point Work, Musculo Tendonal Re-education (MTR), natural therapeutics and hydrotherapy. My favorite work is probably MTR because I see such dramatic results from it. I've recently added Ashiatsu and Cupping to my work. It's fun, it's deep, and it's worth a try!
I am available to massage at Valley Day Spa in Pender, NE by appointment, from Tuesday to Friday 9:30 am-5 pm during the summer while I have my children. When I don't have my children I make myself more available for my clients. I will also be available one Saturday of the month. What can you expect when you come see me?
- While there is a tanning bed in the establishment, you may not tan AFTER a massage. The increased circulation and oils I use can cause rapid burning and skin damage when coupled with a tanning bed. If you feel the need to tan, please make time to do so BEFORE the scheduled massage appointment.
- Drink water as if it is your job AND you LIKE it! Drinking water is a crucial part of self-care and massage. If you don't drink enough water, you may wake up the next morning feeling "hungover," you will tell everyone I suck, and we can't have that!
When I'm not massaging, I'm spending time with my son, planning a trip to visit my daughter and figuring out when I can ride my motorcycle next!
