Hi! I am Jennifer Blakely, the licensed massage therapist behind Your Muscle Connection. I am a mom of 6, two of which I am still raising, and a grandma of 1. I began my journey as a massage therapist after I was injured on the job. I went over a year with having constant headaches, and no hope of relief in sight. After experiencing a massage from a student massage therapist, that was the first time I did not have a headache in more time than I could remember. I decided then that there needed to be more people with the skills and ability to do that. It took another year before I made the commitment to start massage school. I graduated in 2008 with my Associates of Applied Science degree. I almost immediately passed the tests and was licensed in Colorado Springs, Co. Fast forward to 2021, I moved to the Paris, Texas area. For more than a year I worked in Sherman and Paris. In 2022 it was time to venture out on my own and bring everyone to one location. At Your Muscle Connection, I specialize in helping you find lasting relief from pain and discomfort. Using a range of massage techniques and therapeutic modalities, I focus on restoring movement, reducing muscular tension, and improving overall function. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply carrying the stress of everyday, each session is designed to meet your unique needs. My goal is simple: to get you moving, felling and living better- one session at a time.
Intake Forms
Intake forms are sent out via email the day before your appointment. It is required to have them filled out before your session. If you fill them out during your appointment time, your session may be shortened.
Scheduling Policy Reminder
To honor everyone's time and ensure availability:
- Appointments require a 24-hour cancellation notice
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in cancellation fees or in the forfeit of you deposit.
- No-shows will also result in the forfeit of your deposit.
- Late arrivals will end at the scheduled time and full payment is required.
- Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis if I am notified as soon as possible, preferably with a minimum of a 2 hour notice.
