Ashiatsu massage is contraindicated for: pregnancy (*trying to conceive with complications), implants within 9 months,(local) varicose veins, DVT, aneurysm, any acute liver, kidney, urinary disorder, recent injury/surgery (3-12 months depending on surgery) any acute inflammatory conditions, anyone on blood thinners, uncontrolled high blood pressure, bone disorders (osteoporosis), acute bulging/herniated disk; rib fracture, advanced diabetes(neuropathy;infection), contagious skin disorders/skin diseases, acute neurological disorders, acute compromised auto immune systems.
