Once you book an appointment, you can choose if you prefer a biomechanical approach to bodywork, intuitive, or a blend of both. Clear agreements and consent are so important in healing work. This delineated intention allows me to support you in a deeper & more targeted way, while allowing you to have clear boundaries.
Intuitive sessions include somato-emotional release, myofascial work and energy healing. We start by setting intentions for our session together. We may engage in therapeutic dialogue in which I may share some somatic practices and insight that strengthen your connection to your inner wisdom. I may recommend flower essences or nature based practices that will support your ongoing healing, in addition to addressing underlying tension and strain patterns.
Biomechanical craniosacral and myofascial sessions focus on relaxation, symptom resolution and addressing underlying tension and strain patterns. If emotions arise during these sessions, we simply witness and release them, without additional input or processing. Massage can be integrated into adult sessions that are 75 or 90 minutes long.
