Massage invites us to stop, breathe, and connect with our inner experience.

Welcome to the art and science of massage therapy. Metta Embodiment is a place where mindful touch meets the body’s innate capacity for healing. Anastasia, a board-certified massage therapist in practice since 2006, brings nearly two decades of experience in the healing arts. Her work blends professional skill with compassionate presence, specializing in somatic mindfulness, attuned touch, and embodied awareness. Each session is an invitation to reconnect with your body’s wisdom, supporting balance and renewal on every level. Through this integrative approach, massage and bodywork can lead to a wide range of outcomes- physical, emotional and psychological- depending on what your body and nervous system are ready to explore in the moment.

"Respect your body when it's asking for a break.

Respect your mind when it's seeking rest.

Honor yourself when you need a moment for yourself."

Important notice:

Safety is of critical importance to our private practice. Inappropriate, lewd client behavior will be reported to the Lower Makefield Township Police Department.

Potential new clients are required to complete an online consultation/medical intake form to determine therapeutic goals and client-therapist compatibility. Anastasia reserves the right to accept and terminate clients at her professional discretion.

Please visit RespectMassage.com to learn more about the initiative intended to empower massage therapists, educate clients, and deter solicitors.

Massage therapy aims to help relieve symptoms, not cure any illnesses. Similar to chicken soup for a cold, the soup can't cure you, but it can certainly help you feel better while you recover. If you are suffering from pain and discomfort, it is always recommended that you consult with a healthcare professional to ensure you get the proper diagnosis and treatment.

Somatic Therapy:

"Our bodies hold the memories our brains have forgotten." - Nicola Jane Hobbs

Wellness is a holistic integration of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, fueling the body, engaging the mind, and nurturing the spirit.

Listening to your body requires tuning in to your thoughts, feelings and behaviors in addition to being mindful of any symptoms that are unusual for you. Check in with yourself, take care, confront negative thinking, and know when to slow down or take a break entirely.

Dear Body, I love you the way you are. I thank you for all the things you have done for me throughout my life. I respect you for all the things you do for me daily. I honor you for having the wisdom to know how to heal. I trust you to take care of me, and I will take care of you. I promise that I will always listen to you and give you what you ask for to heal and to thrive. My beloved body, I will speak to you with love and care for you as long as we are together. Thank you!

And I said to my body softly, "I want to be your friend. It took a long deep breath and replied, "I've been waiting my whole life for this." - Nayyirah Waheed

"Our backs tell stories no books have the spine to carry." - Rupi Kaur

"Blessed are the hands that find those places

rarely touched with memories

cleverly hiding for so long from so much.

Kind are the hands that hear the stories words can not explain

daring to soothe the hours and years of weariness or pain

Full of grace, those gentle hands

that truly and deeply feel us

For we don't know

how much we hurt

until touch begins to heal us."

- Terrah Cox
