MASSAGE THERAPY & FST
Personalized Therapeutic Assessment
Professional Evaluation & Recovery Therapy Plan
You can tell me your symptoms and what you want to achieve, but your body will communicate a more complete story.
The first step in facilitating treatment is always a therapeutic assessment. I will take the time to get to know you, learn about your athletic or injury experience and take you through some basic tests to determine exactly what your needs are. I will then create an individualized recovery plan that addresses those needs and may include a combination of massage and flexibility therapies.
I encourage you to ask questions. I want you to understand how the suggested therapies work and how they can benefit your body and help you achieve your recovery goals.
Deep Tissue Massage
This form of therapy, which applies slow, firm pressure to release muscle tension is similar to Swedish massage but the focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). This type of massage will work out "knots" from stressed, overworked muscles and connective tissue (fascia) to alleviate immediate pain, as well as chronic joint and muscle pain. It also promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.
Science-based Fascial Stretch Therapy® (FST)
Avoid Injury – Increase Flexibility – Relieve Pain
There are a limited number of Fascial Stretch Therapy® (FST) trained therapists in the nation. This unique manual therapy technique is being sought out by pro athletes, weekend athletes and individuals suffering with chronic pain for its amazing results. Ask me how Fascial Stretch Therapy® (FST)
can help you.
RockTape® – Kinesiology Therapy
It’s all about helping you move better, improving performance and relieving pain. I am certified with the use of RockTape in Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) at the FMT Performance level. It isn’t just about the tape; it’s about applying it correctly.

IASTM (Graston/Gua-Sha)
Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a popular treatment for myofascial restriction. IASTM uses specially designed instruments to provide a mobilizing effect to scar tissue and myofascial adhesions. Several IASTM tools and techniques are available such as the Graston® technique and Gua-Sha.
Vibration Therapy
Massage guns offer what's known as percussive or vibration therapy. This type of massage provides rapid bursts of pressure into the body's muscle tissue (hence the rippling effect of massage guns) as its head oscillates back and forth.
