How can we assist you today!
Review the list below to understand how & why we classify each technique based solely on their therapeutic effects:
Superficial Reflex Techniques: Apply to the skin ( with or without clothes) to affect the level of arousal /promote relaxation, decreased anxiety, increased /decreased resting muscle tension or neuromuscular tone and your body autonomic balance.
Superficial Fluid Techniques : Apply to tissue superficial to muscle to increase venous return and lymphatic return, decreased edema, decreased anxiety and systemic sedation.
Neuromuscular Techniques : Apply to muscle tissue to affect the level of resting muscle tension and neuromuscular tone, increase joint and tissue mobility, decrease pain naturally, decreased trigger point activity, improve postural alignment, enhance muscle performance and stimulate immune function.
Connective Tissue Techniques: we palpate, lengthen and promote remodeling of connective tissue in order to reduce pain naturally, decreased the effect of scars and adhesion, promote connective tissue remodeling, enhance muscle performance, separate and lengthen fascial, increase joint ROM and decreased trigger point activity
Passive Movement Techniques : These techniques palpate the movement of tissues and structures in order to reduce pain , improve movement and arousal.
Percussive Techniques (Rhythmic Light Striking) these techniques enhance airway clearance, reduce or increase neuromuscular tone, proprioceptive stimulation and increase alertness.
Our goal is to match the physiology of the injury or dysfunction with the physiological effects of the therapeutic technique, your body tissue doesn't care about any fancying name attributed to a new or old techniques! The Outcome is what matter because any given techniques in massage or bodywork can produce multiple outcomes.
