Why I blend craniosacral...
The key signatures of my manual therapy are intuitive listening and recognition of whole-body patterns. In my 23 years of doing bodywork, I have found that tissue and energies do not release in a lasting way without patience and “making friends" with the central nervous system. Most of the guarding around pain and holding patterns in our bodies requires this kind of patience and trust. However, I adjust depth and pressure to what the body can allow without creating guarding, so you get what you need where you need it. Often pain and tension patterns are due to repetitive strain, posture misalignments or stress patterns we can address. Your body has its own inner wisdom and ability to heal; it just needs more resources at times to do so. Craniosacral encourages this connected witness and communication so your body can heal itself.
