I love this company - this masseuse just wasn't my favorite.

Not my best massage, a little discouraged.

I’m not sure how someone gets paid to do absolutely nothing…? She said “light touch” , I didn’t think that meant no touch or movement. How does one get release from a person doing nothing? If you want “release” Save your time and money and go elsewhere!

It’s not good to just get a short session. I know I was late but I asked if I should reschedule. Pay the full price for just 20 min :(

The massage was good but it was cold in the room, the music went out, and the masseuse was really chatty and unprofessional in her discussion.

The lady at the front desk wasn't friendly or welcoming at all. She didn't even ask how my massage went or thank me for coming in. I almost felt like I was interrupting her day. I wouldn't return here given the overall experience from the front desk, massage itself or atmosphere.

I came in for the special apprentice special massage with Olivia. While she was very nice and made me feel comfortable, the massage itself and her technique was disappointing. I asked for medium pressure and the entire massage felt like a light brushing of my skin, with only periodic slightly deeper pressure moments. I even told her in the beginning I wanted more pressure and she said “I’m working out your knots, then I’ll go deeper” ? I did not feel my knots really being worked. I wanted bodywork done, and I felt like she didn’t really know how to do that. Just a lot of random super light techniques that really didn’t do anything for my body. My muscles were not worked and I left feeling almost exactly as I came in. Also, my massage started at 10:05ish and was supposed to be 90 min and when I looked at the clock when we finished it was 11:17. She spent a lot of time on me feet at the end because I think she just used that to take up time. I would have liked more deeper work on my actual problem areas I filled out on my form and told her about. Anyways, I know she is learning but I do think she needs feedback if she wants to be successful at this. I’d suggest some further coaching.

Olivia is studying to be a massage therapist. She hasn't done many massages.

When I asked for myofacial release message, he wanted to medative body work instead. I totally regret letting me talking into that. Gary did show me how to kt tape myself. I Yesterday I finally received a cortisone shot to deal with on going issue that I have been dealing with end mid February . Hopefully the cortisone shot does its job and allows my body to start healing myself.

I had booked with a GroupOn prior to COVID-19 for 2 swedish massages. After the 1st massage, Stephanie (the owner) "redeemed" the GroupOn and gave me a credit/wrote a note in her system for the 2nd massage. Yesterday the receptionist could not find the credit/note, and I ended up paying full price. Not a huge deal, but disappointing, nonetheless.

I did like the atmosphere of her house when I entered. It is nicely decorated. Both ladies were professional at all times and personable.

Holistic Bodyworks is in someone's home.. this overall is not a negative thing but it became negative when the temperature is uncomfortable and people are all around hanging out doing different things throughout the home. The actual room where the services are held has a nice ambiance its decorated nicely but again, its hot and less of a comfortable experience than if it were in a proper office.
