I would come again, but would need a different massage therapist. Despite asking several times for a much deeper massage on my neck and back, Emily just didn’t seem to have the strength to do it and I could feel her hands shaking as she tried. The massage was just ok, and I left feeling a bit more frustrated than having no massage at all.

I usually love this place, but the new apprentice was late to set up, ruffled trying to get started and then didn’t really do what I asked for massage-wise. He asked about doing guided meditation and I said I was open, but didn’t wanna get too deep and also really did wanna relax so let’s get started and see how I felt. He never even touched my back except twice with pressure points- I stayed on my front the whole time. It was NOT a massage. He touched pressure points on the right side of my body and talked me through breathing... almost trying to have a therapy session. I’m super into spiritual healing, but I booked a massage and genuinely was super disappointed I didn’t receive one. I booked another one at a different place the next day. Also, I mentioned twice my feet were cold and he kept uncovering them- made for some discomfort.

The place felt like a basement and the decor like it was outdated and the sheets smelt of mildew.
