This was my first visit with Amber. I had shoulder cuff surgery 4 months ago. She is clearly very qualified as a massage therapist, with a depth of knowledge of the complexity of anatomy and physiology, of the healing process involved in post operative procedures. She explains with great detail what she is doing and what is required to facilitate the healing and reparative process of the soft tissues and skeletal structures. I would highly recommend Amber for her competence and skills as well as her personable and professional character. I plan to continue therapy with Amber for the duration of my healing process. Amber was great! She was able to take me same-day and worked out some serious kinks in my back, and gave me some exercises/things to do on my own at own, which have been great, especially after a long day in front of the computer. She also gave me some suggestions for exercises to focus on developing strength in particular areas of need. I was a bit nervous about it hurting, and especially about being sore the day after, but while she did apply pressure, it was not agonizing.

Amber is warm and welcoming. Her skill is evident, and she always knows right where to focus. My problem areas always feel better after and I leave with post appointment care instruction that help to prolong the muscle therapy effects.

Amber is extremely skillful at finding those tight muscles (or in my case a whole train of them) and using a variety of techniques to coax them back. She can be quiet and soothing or friendly and conversational, whichever you prefer. My only regret is I can't go every week.

First time massage and it was for running related injuries. I was warned about the pain i would experience and it was true. Everything was superb

The left side of my lower back had become soar, with sharp pains when I bent over. As I tried compensating, the right side became soar. I saw Amber, and after she worked my entire body, focusing on my lower back and the leg muscles that connect to the lower back, it felt significantly better.
