There wasn’t much rapport. As a woman, and sexual abuse victim, I truly think it would have been beneficial for a male masseuse to have some relationship before the massage. It wasn’t as relaxing as I had hoped. I was looking for pain relief, I understand trigger point therapy can be a bit painful. But it felt like a lot of time was spent on muscles I didn’t request. I’d come back, but likely try a different masseuse. .
