The complementary foot soak was the perfect way to start my appointment. I loved that they use natural doTerra oils and explain the benefits each oil offers. I also loved the photographs they have hanging on the walls, especially the ones of Bryce Canyon!

Calming and relaxing climate. The foot soak with oils and heat packs helps soothe and genuinely relax before the massage.

The past two times that I have made an appointment at Beyond Basic Massage I arrived 10-15 minutes early for the foot soak but then I spent an additional 15 minutes past my appointment time (for a total of 30 minutes) with my feet in cold water while I'm listening to the staff talk at the front desk about nothing work related - and yes, my masseuse WAS ONE OF THEM (the masseuse was not "preparing" the room)! While both masseuses have still massaged me for a full hour and went 15 minutes over my appointment time to make up for their 15 minutes of talking with coworkers, that's NOT THE POINT! The point is it's unprofessional to leave clients waiting for their appointment to start because of nonsense chatter with coworkers.

Wonderful ambiance. Foot soak and hot neck pillow were nice additions to the massage.

I would only suggest finding a way to keep the lobby quieter, but the layout isnt set up for that. It would be doable in a building more conducive to privacy. They do a great job with what they have to work with, though.

It was a nice atmosphere and the foot relaxation was nice too. The staff were very nice I will go back I want to try a variety of different staff.

I liked everything except when the air conditioner came on I was pretty cold.

I had a Lomi Lomi massage with Donell and it was so stress relieving. Very grateful for the experience! Will be going back again.

This was my very first time getting a massage in a professional setting. I have only ever received them from family/friends. I wish that the email could have said something or perhaps even the person at the front desk have said something about tipping beforehand. I have never heard and was unaware that tipping a massage therapist was expected so I was taken by surprise at checkout at the end. Then, went home and researched it and discovered that the tip that I had left was very poor so now I feel bad. How was I supposed to know?

No bagels and cream cheese? Best pre-massage service around.

Nice neck wrap and foot soak. Lobby needs a little more ambiance. Music was low and not real audible. Riley is one of the best therapists to which I have been. Good start for a new place.

Beyond basic just opened. It looks and feels sparse in the waiting area. Unless you speak at a whisper, you can hear through the walls. This was not bothersome for me, but may be an issue for others. I'm sure this will all change as they become more established. We enjoyed the hot neck pillow and foot soak before our massages.The IMPORTANT thing, however, is that the Beyond Basic therapists are top notch. I have never had a better massage, EVER! My friend and I had different therapists and she said hers was the same. Kudos to Beyond Basic for hiring staff who knows their stuff!
