The reason for visiting Carol, was having had a few lymph nodes removed from under my arm, after a recent bout of breast cancer. A coworker of mine had suggested I go and make sure my lymph nodes were properly working. I had never heard of this lymph node massage technique. I looked it up, and thought it would be something that my body would benefit from.
After leaving a message, Carol called me back, and I scheduled an appointment. When I got to her small, quaint office, we sat, and each of us asked each other questions, and got to know one another. I felt very comfortable with her, and all of my questions were answered.
During the massage, you can be as quiet as you want, or as talkative as you want; you set the tone. This massage is much more gentle than a massage you would receive at a spa. Certain things were being explained to me while being massaged, and I appreciated that. Carol was very professional, and spent time with me; I did not feel rushed. I scheduled another appointment in a month, and look forward to it.
