I was born and raised mostly in Charleston but have also lived in Boston, Dublin, New York, Philadelphia, and a small village in Germany called Bergisch Gladbach. I studied English Literature at Trinity College, in Dublin, and received my bachelor's degree from Boston University. In my childhood, my grandmother, who has six children, always had a "bad back," and through her, I learned about bodywork. I completed my 500 hour massage therapy certification through Trident Technical College in 2011 and since then have continued my studies at Kripalu, the NC School of Advanced Bodywork, the Bodhi Tree in Charleston, and others. I am particularly interested in Reiki, a kind of energy work developed in Japan, which I have practiced since 2010, Orthobionomy, which incorporates gentle stretching to release tension in the joints, and Craniosacral Therapy. I also specialize in deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal massage, aromatherapy, and hot stone massage. Releasing tension in the mind and body is the goal for every session. To this day, my favorite client is my grandmother.
