For years I was interested in massage therapy as a career. After a career in the US Army I wanted to use my knowledge, skills, and abilities to help others; massage therapy was the perfect fit. I attended the renowned Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in Colorado Springs and focused on sports specific therapeutic massage therapy. I was able to do a certification in Advanced Sports Massage before I graduated, I have also been certified in hot stone massage and I have integrated that into my practice as well. I am also pursuing certification as a personal trainer, through NASM, to better help my clients in their recovery and endeavors.
In my training I have worked with triathletes, CrossFit athletes, climbers, biking enthusiasts, long distance runners, swimmers, body builders, military service members training for elite units, and many others. My greatest professional victories are getting active people back where they need to be to succeed.
My personal hobbies and interests include CrossFit, bouldering, reading way too much, cinema, cooking and baking, live music, and lots of play time with my dogs Rue and Pippa.

A J’s massage treatment is not based solely on what I bring to his attention about my physical condition but also on his years of experience and keen understanding of how the body works!
