Throughout his massage career, Johaun has learned that no two sessions are alike. Everyone has their own set of life experiences and a unique relationship to their body, which deeply affects their personal massage style preferences and needs. This understanding has enabled Johaun to utilize his training and extensive life experience to tailor each massage session to the needs of his clients. He loves blending styles and using the tools he knows to better fit the needs of his clients. From treatment-oriented bodywork including (but not limited to) trigger point therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques (METs), active isolated stretching (AIS) to more of the soothing, relaxing Swedish massage with fluid three dimensional contact and even accessing a more energy-based multilayered Reiki and chakra balancing.

Truly the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. I’ve had plenty of massages in my 33 years and since going to Johaun 2 years ago - i can’t ever go back to any other mediocre massage. He’s kind, professional, knowledgeable and listens to every small detail to curate the best massage for you.

Johaun was an excellent massage therapist and worked well with me. He listened to my thoughts and concerns and worked on the issues that I described needed help. He also helped me to assess what could be contributing to these issues to help going forward. It is obvious to me that he has been doing this kind of work for a long time and is extremely knowledgeable. He is kind, wise and professional. I was very pleased and will be returning.

Before we entered the massage room he asked if I was sensitive to any scents which I really appreciated as I do have allergies to some scents.
