Throughout his massage career, Johaun has learned that no two sessions are alike. Everyone has their own set of life experiences and a unique relationship to their body, which deeply affects their personal massage style preferences and needs. This understanding has enabled Johaun to utilize his training and extensive life experience to tailor each massage session to the needs of his clients. He loves blending styles and using the tools he knows to better fit the needs of his clients. From treatment-oriented bodywork including (but not limited to) trigger point therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques (METs), active isolated stretching (AIS) to more of the soothing, relaxing Swedish massage with fluid three dimensional contact and even accessing a more energy-based multilayered Reiki and chakra balancing.

I originally booked a lymphatic drainage massage with the wrong idea of what it actually was so half way we switched to a regular massage and it was the best thing i’ve ever experienced! I felt so at peace and relaxed afterwards. I didn’t realize how bad and tight my muscles were. Johaun made me feel very comfortable and explained things well.
