Jeff Cemel LMT, PTA, CIMT graduated from Chattanooga Massage Institute in 2023 and has been providing bodywork for 22 years as a physical therapist assistant at Benchmark and Results Physiotherapy. Jeff has manual therapy certifications from Great Lakes Seminars, ASTYM, and a movement specialist certification in SFMA. A unique approach to massage therapy, Jeff combines traditional Swedish techniques with myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, and DermoNeuroModulaion as a way to calm the nervous system, decrease tension in soft tissue and restore normal pain-free range of motion. Moving the nervous system into a more parasympathetic state is his main goal in a a typical session. Jeff is passionate for his clients and patients to learn to treat themselves in between sessions by sharing stretches and repeated movements for the desired effect. He is especially concerned with removing obstacles in movement so his clients can resume any desired activity whether it’s gardening, playing with the kids or even putting on pants without needing to sit down. Jeff’s goal for the end of each session is for clients to walk away feeling they can move with more freedom, refreshed and relaxed. Out of the office Jeff enjoys hiking with his dog to nearby waterfalls, photography, pickleball, tennis and dancing with his wife.
