Crystal began her studies in massage at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Crystal later on went to receive her 700 hour massage training at the Sedona School of Massage in Sedona, Arizona.  During that time, she studied Shiatsu, deep tissue massage, Craniosacral, Orthobionomy, Polarity Therapy, Swedish Massage, and Assisted Isolated Stretching. Crystal later on went to receive her 700 hour massage training at the Sedona School of Massage in Sedona, Arizona.  During that time, she studied Shiatsu, deep tissue massage, Craniosacral, Orthobionomy, Polarity Therapy, Swedish Massage, and Assisted Isolated Stretching. Crystal taught a Swedish Massage class during her time working at the Way Inn neighboring Huaraz, Peru. Crystal also trained under the Kundalini Yoga instructor, Samson Burke, under the teachings of Yogi Bhajan. Crystal also spent a year studying at Emperor's College of Traditional Medicine, where she was able to integrate Oriental Medicine into her work, through meridian and point based acupressure.
