Hello,
My name is Dallas Wright and my massage therapy practice is called Body Alignment Maintenance (B.A.M.!). I am located near Allison Park, Fox Chapel, and Hampton area (15 minute drive from downtown Pittsburgh). My B.A.M.! technique uses a mixture of Swedish massage, Trigger Point therapy, Myofascial, CranioSacral, MLD, and Sports Massage to help you reach your strongest functionality at your maximum flexibility. I am a PA State Licensed Massage Therapist and graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy where I studied the techniques listed above and many more including Shiatsu and Thai Massage. As well I worked as a private caregiver for 7 years where I learned to understand my sight and feel for the human body and begin to hone a vision for our long term needs. My passion for fitness, movement, and body awareness fuels my intuitive approach to massage. I'll help you interpret your body's signals and establish sustainable self-care routines to reach your potential.
During our first session I'll assess your current state in combination with your goals. We will build from there with each subsequent session and each subtle change of need as we go along.

I worked as a caregiver or aide for elderly predominantly from 2015-2022. During that period, I was able to explore and help others find aways to get the most function they could have within the resources and ability they had. This built from an understanding that each action in their day to day had a domino effect on their wellbeing. While the choices of the yesteryears are still remembered by our bodies in our present day. Eventually this pursuit of wellness through MT, PT, OT, attentive care and nutrition led me to pursue a massage therapy program where I'm more capable of helping others address physical problems in a even more targeted fashion.
I've always been intrigued by how we can learn to grow and control our own muscles and abilities. I wrestled intensively in high school where I learned to hone my control, but also get the feel for how to move others around. Throughout college where I studied voice performance, it provided a further introspective time of body awareness and sensation. As well learning how to interpret and utilize empathetic sensation when watching someone else perform an activity. Lastly coming back to school to finish my degree with a focused study in dance. Culminated my desire and awareness for what kind of strength and functionality that I hope to carry on throughout my own life and that I want to share with others.
