I volunteered to provide free even massage to the participants in the 2014 Portland Dragon Boat races. This was a terrific experience and I was busy non-stop all day working on the tight shoulders and backs of the rowers.

Structural Bodywork and Corrective Exercise

I am a genuine bodywork and mobility geek. I have advanced training in structural bodywork with KMI certified instructors as well as other approaches, including Jon Hart's Interstructural approach. I am an experienced powerlifting coach and specialize in corrective exercise for the older client. I bring to my work a wealth of knowledge and experience designed to help you recover quickly and find lasting ease and strength.

Freda is very professional and astute in assessing the client's situation and needs. Jim is good at explaining the musculature and its functioning during the session, although occasionally he gets "into the weeds" in detail and theory. He has gracefully accommodated my personal preferences and is forthright when unable to do so if it impact the quality of service he provides. We have found a very satisfactory interactive professional/client relationship that serves my needs well and I feel I am learning more about my body.
