Ilia’s journey to helping others began after she graduated from the University of Hartford in 1999. She worked for ten years as a social worker, helping her clients alleviate the physical pain and emotional imbalances caused by life’s every day challenges. It was through her social work career that Ilia began to notice how emotional pain expresses itself as physical ailments and exhaustion. Following her passion to help others, Ilia enrolled at the Cortiva Institut, became a Licensed Massage Therapist and completed training to be a CranioSacral Practitioner through the Upledger Institute. She is also a Reiki II practitioner and a STOTT Pilates Instructor. Ilia strongly believes that massage therapy can help release years of emotional and physical strain.

When Ilia is not working she can be seen running around Philly with her twin boys. She recently moved into the graduate hospital community and is excited to be the neighborhood’s massage therapist.
