Let's try to help one another take care of ourselves

I attended massage school in my hometown of Chicago and have been practicing since 2013. My background varies from indulgent spa massaging to clinical goal orientated work. I attended massage school in my hometown of Chicago and have been practicing since 2013. My background varies from indulgent spa massaging to clinical goal orientated work. I am proud to have helped create the massage therapy program at Chintimini's Senior Center in Corvallis. I also had a private practice in Corvallis. During this time I was mentoring with Dave Wilkinson and receiving continuing education in rehabilitative massage which deepened my cerebral and tactile understanding of the body's systems, functions, and dysfunctions.

While abroad in Southeastern Asia, I studied traditional Thai bodywork in the remote Lahu Village, an ancient Taoist abdominal massage known as Chi Nei Tsang. I expanded my meditation practice after with Qi Gong, BioEnergetics, and Sudarshan Kriya. My interest continues to be peaked when it comes to the power of  visualization, breathing, and awareness. Though some of these practices have roots far from our American culture,I know these practices to be relevant and accessible avenues to take in one's self-care wellness journey. As always, I am happy to share as much or as little as you care to know. I do not consider myself a master of these practices but rather a knowledgable student.

Recently I stayed in Minnesota where worked at the Infinity Wellness Center working closely with the two chiropractors on goal orientated patient care. Here I also deepened my ability to work with the subtle energy body. After helping facilitate both sisters' birth, I feel called to expand my scope of practice. I am now moved back to the Willamette Valley and in school working towards a nursing degree with future hopes of becoming a nurse practitioner focusing on women's health with an integrative approach.

I am practicing solely at MassageWORKS at the new Two River's office with Dave Wilkinson and Liz Hoffman. Please note my phone number has changed to 773.538.7406. Feel free to book an appointment online or to text me to hear what my openings are.I am grateful to be a supportive role in you self-care upkeep and I value your presence in my life. Take good care of yourself and others out there.
