Roberta has studied the human body and how it moves since she took her first dance class at 3 yrs old. She left a successful corporate sales career to practice massage therapy in 1994. Roberta maintains Board Certification through the NCBTMB and is an Approved Provider of Continuing Education.  She teaches Advanced Techniques at The Massage School in Boston.  While her early training was directed towards perfecting the human form through dance, her focus matured into the exploration and uncovering of the underlying causes of pain and distress in our bodies.  This often involves the integration of the body’s physical manifestations with its mental and spiritual components as the three are so intimately connected.

Recognizing that massage therapy, or some comparable form of bodywork, is a critical piece in one’s fundamental health and wellbeing, Roberta’s ideal client is someone who is interested in partnering with their health care provider(s) to achieve “self directed” health and wellbeing.  Over her 20+ years of formal practice in the healing arts she has developed the belief that each of us has access to our own internal, innate ability to self heal.  It is in fact only through our internal processes that healing can take place.  The more consciousness brought to this work by client and practitioner, the more profound and deeply healing the results.  Roberta endeavors to apply the wellspring of her knowledge and intuitive insights to advise and support the interests of her clients. She does her best work when this energy is met in kind by the commitment of the client.

Roberta is the President of Wellness Elements, Inc., an organization that is dedicated to health for all beings.  It endeavors to accomplish this work through lectures, seminars, research and workshops available to all healthcare providers and their communities as well as the layperson and general public.  Wellness Elements further supports the healthy individuation of individuals by partnering with its clients to achieve the benefits of massage and touch therapy thru its organizations: MassageMore in Acton, MA and Bodywork in Cambridge, MA.   She maintains a limited practice at each location.
