Megan Smith is a Licensed Massage Therapist and the owner of Healing Moon Massage & Wellness. While she specializes in Swedish massage and the healing power of essential oils. She also has a keen knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology and Applied Kinesiology, and is skilled in Sports Massage Therapy as well. She has helped herself and clients overcome physical ailments such as plantar fasciitis, lower back and hip pain, and neck tension. In addition to Swedish and Sports Massage Therapy, she also offers Reiki, Bamboo Massage, and Infrared Sauna Treatments.

She is also a Wellness Advocate for dōTERRA® essential oils and strongly believes in the body’s ability to naturally heal itself. She is certified to provide dōTERRA® AromaTouch Technique™, which was developed to maximize the physical and emotional health benefits of 8 carefully chosen essential oils. The technique stimulates the known body meridians and energy points and aids the body in re-establishing a state of balance and homeostasis. She is also a Symphony of the Cells™ (SOC) educated professional. SOC takes a holistic approach to wellness and recognizes the importance of taking proper care of our bodies. It encompasses a variety of tailored essential oil applications, that target different body systems and related conditions, from digestive issues to emotional harmony. Megan graduated from Trident Technical College, Charleston, South Carolina with honors in 2018. She is Nationally Board Certified and a proud member of the American Massage Therapist Association. In addition to her massage schooling, Megan also graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001 from the University of South Florida with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. Before becoming a massage therapist, she spent 15 years with the US Navy as a logistician, faithfully supporting our troops, and 5 years with the US Postal Service. Her own health and lower back problems lead her to seek natural healing through chiropractic care, massage therapy, reiki, and essential oils, which in turn sparked her interest for a change in careers.

Megan is excited to be able to offer therapeutic massage to the Santee community and the guests of Clark’s Inn & Restaurant! She is conveniently located on the property. Treatments are by appointment only, but she is happy to come in by request for weary travelers, golfers, or just anyone who needs to feel better!
