Who can benefit from massage?
EVERYONE!
Everyone can benefit from some form of massage.
How often should I receive massage?
A
massage everyday will not hurt you…but who can afford that? In cases of chronic
pain, 1 time per week would be the best, for most others, once a month is
typical.
What should I wear during massage?
That
is entirely up to the individual. All
clothing is usually removed; however depending on the area of the body
being worked and the comfort level of the individual, some clothing may be left
on. Not to worry if you are shy. Proper draping will only allow the
practitioner to view the area being worked on (arm, leg, etc.) This way the client will not feel exposed.
What type of massage is best for me?
My goal is to help each client on their very own healing
journey which varies from person to person. I try to make every massage
session as unique as the client who walks through my door. Massage is
not just about relaxing, it is also about helping the body heal from past and
present injuries, and helping to prevent future injuries.
