My schooling was at the Florida College of Natural Health in Altamonte Springs, FL. Most people know it as its former iteration, the Reese Institute. When I graduated in 2000, I immediately sat for the National Certification Exam and passed with flying colors.During clinical work with my student cohort and in public clinic, I developed a deep appreciation for the form and function of the muscles. Anatomy and physiology fascinate me. Being able to put my hands on and feel the different ways the muscles co-operate together (or not) is something my clients tell me I am gifted with.
In fifteen years of professional business, I've studies many things. My real passion is in offering traditional massage therapy, without a whole lot of bells and whistles. There is such great benefit in therapy that is simple and straightforward, skillfully applied with great attention. That's what I specialize in.
My clients report relief from all manner of aches and pains, from chronic headaches and shoulder issues, to back pain and athletic over use injuries. Several clients come to me for relief of swelling (edema), and benefit greatly from the gentle and deeply relaxing application of lymphatic drainage technique.
I also have a massage chair and can come to your office or special event. I am very well versed in chair massage, having worked with a chair massage company for 13 years.
My office is a sanctuary away from the rest of the world, conveniently located in Winter Park near the Whole Foods market on Aloma.
