When I parked my car and looked at the outside of the building I felt welcomed. From the chairs that sat on the porch to the aromatherapy diffusers that enter your nostrils as you come in!! I've been going to OMG for 5 years, So when I became pregnant, of course I would continue my services with the wellness bar ,because I knew I would be in excellent hands. The pregnancy massage surpassed my expectations. I anticipated a lot of adjusting and discomfort, with my growing belly, but my massages have been amazing. During my early stage of pregnancy Curtis supported my body's transition and insured my body was ready to adjust to the weight gain, pressure, and stress. Once I felt comfortable Curtis was confident and well-trained to render pregnancy massages to meet the needs of my body, and best evidence-based practices for prenatal massages. Curtis also provided me with simple techniques I could do at home to support sinus congestion, constipation and other pregnancy symptoms. I'm headed into my third trimester and I am confident that the massages rendered by Curtis on a monthly basis has helped me manage pregnancy symptoms and prepare my body for the last transmission into delivery.

I recently had knee replacement surgery. My body was extremely wound up from RXs & tense muscles everywhere. I made an appt for a chair massage. During our pre massage assessment Curtis said he’d like for me to try lying on the massage table in whatever way made me comfortable. Surprisingly, I could position myself for a full body massage. I appreciated the reminder to trust my body. After surgery, I’d admittedly was physically overcompensating on just about everything.

I think it would we helpful for clients to know what's coming next during the session, especially since some of his techniques were new to me. For instance, warning the client that you are going to lift the lower half of their body off the table to manipulate the hips or pushing pressure on the sizes of my head at the end of the session. Some of these technique were new to me and I felt slight uncomfortable, but with a warning it would have been more relaxing. Overall a good massage.

Curtis is the most talented massage therapist that I have ever seen. He completely changed my life by resolving the ongoing sciatica that I had in my hips following the birth of my first child. I also suffer from migraines that are triggered by stiffness in my upper back and regular massage has helped with that. I loved how attentive Curtis was to all my tension areas, as well as the areas that weren't as problematic. I have had therapists spend all their time on the worst areas and neglect the other parts of my body. Not the case with Curtis. He managed to address everything and more. I loved everything about the space, from the room set-up to the personal welcome sign, down to the music choice and the essential oil diffuser. Booking an appointment was really easy, and I loved that I could easily add it to my calendar. The email reminder a few days before and the text message 2 hours before were also really helpful.
