Back, Neck, Shoulder Massage

A Back, Neck, Shoulder Massage targets just that... the upper body; therefore, it is a shorter session than a full body massage. We integrate techniques from a number of different modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Trigger Point, etc. Through the use of these techniques, specific problems can be addressed, producing optimal results.

Ashiatsu

Ashiatsu is a western version of an ancient form of bodywork, with roots dating back thousands of years from cultures across Asia, India, Africa and the Pacific Rim. With client lightly draped, therapists use overhead bars for stability, and with their feet, apply deep, controlled pressure from the very top of the neck and shoulders to the bottoms of the feet. If you are a person who prefers deeper pressure, this modality was made for you!

Feel the Stretch Massage

This service combines a full body muscle stretch with massage. The entire session is implemented on the massage table. Approximately 50% of time is spent on actively stretching the muscles, and the other 50% is reserved for massage. Combining these two modalities improves flexibility, mobility, and performance.

Hot Stone Massage

Smooth stones are heated and lubricated with oil or essential oils, then used as an extension of the therapist's hands. The therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. A specially designed cushions is used to allow women, even in their third trimester, to lie face down to receive their massage. This cushion prevents pressure on the abdomen and allows the therapist access to the entire back, including the ever-so-achey lower lumbar and hip region.

For a good part of my life I worked in the Graphic Arts field. I wouldn’t change a thing about this massage. The office and room are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and dimly lit with calming music. Aimee asked me where to focus and throughout the massage checked in to ensure we were on the same page with the amount of pressure she applied. I selfishly hate to make Teresa busier but she so deserves to be as busy as she wants to be. She’s truly gifted. Everything was great as always. I feel like Atlas relieved of the world on his shoulders. The only reason for the 4 stars on ambiance is something she’s solving by moving nearby soon, a dog grooming business below her suite that you can just barely hear from the studio. It really doesn’t bother me but Teresa is such a professional that for that and whatever other valid reasons she’s relocating soon. She tells me it will be less than five minutes away.

I had an 90 min full body massage, it was delightful. Teresa is a very sweet, soft spoken woman. She did a wonderful massage. I was so relaxed, I had to really focus to drive home. I will most definitely return for more massages. Her music choices were very nice and tranquil.

Don’t let the walk to the suite fool you because as soon as you see her shop and how relaxing she’s made it you’ll feel right at home. I have never met a Massuese like Teresa! She is absolutely passionate about making your appointment with her the best it could possibly be! She even let me choose the scent of my massage lotion...which she makes herself! Her techniques are so unique but SO good with the smoothest transitions that kept me in and out of a state of sleeping and wondering “how the HECK did she do that?”.
