Margo Farnsworth has been drawn to nurturing people throughout her career. She’s been a licensed massage therapist since 2005, graduating from the Central Massachusetts School of Massage. She is continually seeking to extend her skills and practice and is passionate about her work (one client refers to her as a “massage nerd”). She takes a slower and deeper approach, focusing on creating a therapeutic effect working with the fascia. Margo’s practice centers on helping people recognize the patterns of their body movement and posture which lead to their discomfort and pain. Understanding that injury often occurs because the body is already out of balance, she places postural correction at the heart of her practice. Often a session will consist of both assisted stretching and massage.

ACE Massage Cupping Certification
Specific techniques to address headaches, migraines and TMJ. This includes intra-oral work.
Myofascial Meridians for the Manual Therapist Workshop taught by Eli Thompson, based on the work of Tom Myers Anatomy Trains is a way of analyzing soft-tissue patterns and posture, and developing strategies for unwinding these patterns via fascial and myofascial work.
2 day certification course in RockTape application techniques
A 3 day course in specific techniques for addressing shoulder issues.
Courses I & II covering both upper and lower body myofascial release techniques. Howard Rontal is a Hellerwork practitioner and these techniques are based in that type of body work.
A one week course in Fascial Stretch Therapy (or FST), a type of stretching that targets not only the muscles, but the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and joints. FST also targets the entire joint and joint capsule, using traction to remove restrictions from movement and to stimulate lubrication
Thai massage techniques adapted for the massage table.
Courses with Judith Delany of NeuroMuscular Therapy American Version™. A precise and thorough examination of all soft tissues that may be responsible for myofascial pain and dysfunction, with consideration for a number of other perpetuating factors that may sustain the condition.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation with Lori-Ann Gallant Heilborn. IASTM aka “Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization,” is a manual therapy approach to musculoskeletal injuries using specifically designed tools.
Full body trained, including advanced courses. Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (SMRT), a form of positional release, taught by Dawn Lewis, is a concept that begins with passive contraction of muscles, ligaments, connective tissues, and bones simultaneously to allow spontaneous release of these structures. SMRT stimulates lymphatic flow and creates a natural unwinding of connective tissues, which allows the joints of the body to realign effortlessly, re-establishing correct posture. While doing all of this, SMRT also quickly alleviates soreness in tissue, permitting you to work deep tissues that have not been accessed before. Finally, SMRT release both physical and etheric energy. The release of the ATP necessary to hold muscles tight and joints out of alignment lets the body relax and further the healing in the area.
BioSynchronistics® draws on traditional physical therapy techniques, and is enhanced with a holistic approach based on both the force of gravity and the body’s inherent ability to heal itself. BioSynchronistics® combines manual therapy approaches that balance, sequentially, all of a body’s systems. Levels 1 & 2.
The Structural Essential series (based in the principles of Anatomy Trains) is a set of intensive soft-tissue technique courses divided into functional regions. Combining movement and manual techniques for the most efficient and long-lasting results, and using the latest research on the interaction between skeleton, muscles, joints, and fascial proprioceptors.
