3. Acute pain control (severe or disabling pain. Requires a prescription. This does not include preventative or maintenance therapy. See bottom of page for a more extensive definition of this situation.)
If you do not currently fit within one of these categories or you are considered high-risk note that we will have to cancel and reschedule your appointment for a later date. With the extension of the shutdown into the 3 phases it appears that some exceptions will likely occur in June. For more information on this see link at the bottom of this page.
Please know that we have taken extra precautions in addition to the requirements at this time to create a safe environment:
1. Sanitation and disinfectants used extensively and allowed to sit for the time it takes to actually become effective. Office environment has been adjusted to allow for maximum sterile surfaces and non-contact.
2. Non-Contact Laser Infrared Thermometer for screening.
3. Staggering of appointments to prevent overlapping occupancy and apply proper sanitation.
4. PPE equipment worn by therapist and mask requirement for each client.
The American Massage Therapy Association and Washington Department of Health will be communicating to all therapists new protocols to safely begin working within our full scope of practice again, and we are committed to strictly adhering to these policies. We appreciate your patience and hope to see you soon!
