After receiving my Bachelors of Fine Arts from Kendall College of Art and Design I was intent on going back for my masters. A friend recommended massage therapy and it seemed the perfect line of work to fund my future plans. I enrolled at Blue Heron Academy of Troy in the medical massage program and immediately fell in love with the limitless health benefits. From pain relief to athletic recovery, the soothing touch of massage is healing and rejuvenating. I realized instantly that this was the career for me and haven't looked back.
I began my massage career in April, 2007 by gaining experience in a chiropractic facility followed by a chain massage studio and private spa. In 2010, I was blessed with the opportunity to combine the best qualities of each to create a space for therapeutic massage with the feeling of a luxury spa treatment. I enjoy using many modalities to enhance my sessions including hot stone, cupping, and lymphatic drainage. After more than fifteen years in massage therapy, I value client success more than anything. I enjoy researching new techniques and learning about what works best for each individual.

After many years in the automotive field and after taking time off to raise a family I decided to repackage myself in a different occupation. My career as a massage therapist began when my fiance brought home an information packet from Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage. We both fell in love with the school, electing to attend together! As we grew our family, we also grew in our field of knowledge.
Before massage therapy, I worked as a bartender and server which allowed me to fine tune my communication skills. Interestingly, massage therapy rapidly became my passion. Learning how the body moves, repairs itself, and compensates with the pain and stress in our lives is truly fascinating. Finding out how massage can make a difference in that process was even more so.
My career has mostly been in chiropractic environments. I have always thought of the human body as a puzzle to solve. I thoroughly enjoy figuring out the root causes of issues others may have, using my knowledge of the human body to ease pain and provide the opportunity for healing. After graduating in 2007 as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Macomb Community College, I knew I was in my passion of work. I worked in the hospital setting and found so much joy in helping others regain strength and mobility after surgeries and hospital stays. I started to see the benefits of even a gentle touch to someone's back after being in a hospital bed. In 2008 I gave a full body massage to a friend from the little bit I had learned in PTA school and from then on I knew Massage Therapy was something I wanted to do. It wasn't till after a lot more life experience, four children, and 13 years later that the timing was right. I began the Massage Therapy program at Carnegie in 2021 and haven't looked back. It is a blessing to work with so many amazing clients, hear their stories, and what they hope to gain from massage. Whether life is feeling up or down for my clients, I hope they will always feel taken care of for a moment in their day through massage.
