Passionate About Healing

In September 2009 I came to Virginia Beach with a small suitcase and a few dollars to my name. I had absolutely no intention of staying more than a few weeks or moving here for that matter. I had just spent the previous 6 months in Mijas, Spain at a school called G42 Leadership Academy. In September 2009 I came to Virginia Beach with a small suitcase and a few dollars to my name. I had absolutely no intention of staying more than a few weeks or moving here for that matter. I had just spent the previous 6 months in Mijas, Spain at a school called G42 Leadership Academy. While I was there I was mentored by some really amazing teachers and individuals who flew in from around the world just to share from their own personal lives and journeys. Life was meant to be lived fully alive and you were meant to be fully aware what you really have inside of you. I made some lifelong friendships, drank some really good wine, and probably laughed the most I ever have in my entire life. Spain has a special place in my heart that I will always cherish. Before that I spent a year traveling around the world on The World Race. The reason for going was I wanted to make a difference in this world and do my best to help humanity. During that year I learned a lot about myself and how broken of an individual I was. I realized in order for me to make others’ lives better I had to start with myself.  I started a journey to face my demons and completely let go. We all carry so much baggage and it's a continual process of picking it up, lying it down, and letting it all go. We all must become good at handling the lifelong process.

I started this massage journey in 2003 at a small school in Nashville, TN (where I am from) but I was not at a place where settling down or committing to anything were even options. I did have a massage table and I gave lots of massages to friends and family. It was fun. I knew I was good but I wasn't sure if I wanted to make it my career. Shortly after I moved here in 2009, I went on a trip to Israel with my good friend Hannah and during that time I got an amazing massage. Something sparked inside me and I knew that massage therapy was what I wanted to do as a career. So I did it! I graduated from the Cayce Reilly School of Massage Therapy in 2010. They say if you love what you do you will never have to work a day in your life. Well I can honestly say that I really love what I do as a Massage Therapist. It feels really good growing at your trade and becoming better while maintaining the desire to keep learning more. I've never been good with rules or living by someone else's system. I flow to my own rhythm and that works for me. I find I am at my best working for myself where I am the one in control of my life. I am working towards my long term goals which not only include me but the future of our next generation. The orphans and kids always have held a special place in my heart. I hope to make a difference in these little lives one small step at a time. These are just some of my dreams that I carry deep in my soul. If you carry something long enough you will eventually see it come to life. I want to leave this world knowing I did my best to make it a better place for generations to come.

XO Sarah

Sarah is amazing. She's fixed so many problems in my back and legs that were sports injuries. If you have muscles that you think are pulled or slightly torn, go see her. You might just be tight from not stretching properly.

Sarah does a great job. The entire experience is very calming. When I have a specific issue, she takes extra steps to provide relief and comfort. I would go every day if I could. Only downside is having to leave.

Sarah has a strong desire to help others regain heir health and quality of life. This in combination with her ability to find the trouble areas in her clients bodies makes her an amazing massage therapist. I highly encourage any one who is considering getting a massage to make an appointment with Life Massage and see for themselves what Sarah can do for them!
