Are you too familiar with headaches, neck and/or shoulder pain, back pain, carpal tunnel or thoracic outlet syndrome? Have you been injured or suffered a trauma? Or do you just feel that over all your body feels closed off and inhibited? I am a certified Myofascial Release Massage therapist. By working with the muscles and their associated fascia, we are able to free the body from the myofascial restrictions that can inhibit the bodys full potential.
My passion is therapeutic restorative bodywork. But what does that mean? Through a series of different modalities such as: Myofascial Release Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Cupping, Active-Assisted Release Movements, we are able to reduce pain, increase range of movement, increase the quality and ease of movement, and help bring the body back into the position it was meant to be in. This type of work is beneficial to so many, isn't it time you invested in yourself? Wouldn't it be nice to move more freely, feeling less resitrictions and pain? Maybe you are a golfer who is suffering from back pain or feel that you just don’t have the power in your swing the way you used to. For my CrossFitters: this can help open your chest for your over head work, making it easier to push through the window. It will also help your squat, making sure you get below parallel. Ease the workout related stiffness AND increase your lung capacity for those redliner workouts. This work will be life changing for the TMJ Dysfunction sufferers. Have you had lock jaw? Do you grind your teeth? Wake up in the morning with a tired and stiff jaw? Did you know that even ringing in the ears can be associated with TMJD??? With myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy we can ease the headaches, free the jaw from restrictions, and make eating easier. In this current techno-society, our bodies are bent and distorted within the gravitational field. This can lead to pain, discomfort, weakened and inhibited muscles, and of course trigger points. By asking the muscles to do their job and measuring the ease and quality movement of the body, we can then see what the real problem is. This way we can treat it specifically, not just a general treatment.
**During the sessions, I will have clients on and off the table. This way we can check the progress of the session to make sure we reach the session goal each time. Please bring loose fitting shorts to each session. Ladies please wear a tank top or cami and wear a sports bra.**
