About Us

This is usually the hardest part for me...telling people about who I am. But, I am going to give it a try. I was born in Oxnard but, did not come back to Ventura County till 1984. I came to massage therapy late in life after working different jobs that were satisfyingly the time. It was not until my father passed away unexpectedly in 2011 that I realized it was time to pursue Massage Therapy. One fateful January day, I walked into the Kali Institue of Somatics and Massage and spoke to the director Nancy. I was planning on attending the later massage program as I was still unsure and grappling with making such a drastic decision. Like many people, I find it hard to write about myself. How do you put down on paper “who you are”, when we are ever changing and growing as a person?

I am a therapist with a strong intuitive touch that leaves clients feeling balanced, relaxed, and wanting more. By using my knowledge of anatomy combined with my love of holistic healing the results come through in my work.
I am a therapist that believes in mixing bodywork therapy with a little relaxation. The body, if given the chance knows how to heal itself.
I am a therapist that believes that massage in this day and age is a necessity NOT a luxury. If the client makes massage a priority in their lives, they will begin to not only feel tight muscles loosen and adhesions released, and overtime my work has proven to assist the client in over-all healing and well being.
We are both on a journey to heal the body.
