My personal journey
into the healing arts began almost a decade ago when I was attending
art school and realized that my actual passion was for nature and
people. How could I work with both? How could I help people more
directly while also connecting to the plants and the planet itself?
How could I become a light to alleviate some of the suffering in the
world? I began to notice that people in America, and worldwide for
that matter, were becoming more and more disconnected, depressed, and
sick in body, mind, and spirit. It seemed to me that they needed
better alternatives to the modern lifestyle and mode of thinking
about their health and how they relate to life itself in this world.
I wanted to do more than simply educate people; I wanted to find a
way to help them change and heal themselves. It seemed overwhelming,
but I finally accepted that this is what I am here to do and I would
find a way no matter what obstacles I had to overcome. It took many
years of searching in myself, studying through books, practicing the
arts, and analyzing traditions from all across the world to find my
direction – massage and bodywork has become the first step in what
will be a long journey in learning, and mastering, holistic medicine.
The end goal of this quest is to eventually open a full-scale
wellness center to support those seeking a deeper level of healing
which does not exclude the spiritual aspects of our existence but
rather embraces them as a core component of life, renewal, vitality,
and longevity.
Only when we open ourselves to what is
possible can we begin to see our greatest potential unfolding before
us; like a plant reaching for the sun. We all have the ability to
discover what inspires and motivates us to create positive change in
ourselves and in the world around us. I hope to serve humbly and
passionately as a guide for those who want to rise above the
negatives and engage with a more positive lifestyle for themselves,
their families, and their community.
Currently, I offer a
variety of massage and bodywork services to my clients; but over time
I will be expanding this business as I further my education to
encompass other forms of holistic healing such as Yoga, Ayurveda,
Herbalism, Astrological Counseling, and, most notably, Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine.
Thank you for joining me as this
dream blossoms, and I hope that I can meet you all somewhere along
the way!
