I am a 2016 Graduate of The Center For Natural Wellness School Of Massage Therapy in Albany, NY and a 2002 graduate of the Herkimer County School of Practical Nursing. Upon graduation from nursing school, I worked in geriatrics for many years before making a change to work in dialysis caring for patients with end stage renal disease. When I decided to further my education to become a Licensed Massage Therapist, I wanted to do so because I still wanted to help people, but in a different capacity and it was the best decision I ever made. This was the best soft tissue work I have ever received. I did not care for the buddhalike atmosphere or being asked how I felt as you finished. I would appreciate a silent exit that does not to engage my cognitive brain at the finish of such a skilled and thoughtful technique.

Colleen was amazing. This was my first ever massage and I was nervous going in, but she made it such a wonderful experience. She guided me through everything that she would be doing and she touched every spot I needed her too. She really worked out all the tension and kind that I had. The room was warm and so inviting! Great appointment today. I have benefitted greatly from deep tissue massage and stretching techniques working with Colleen. Her work has helped with recovery and pain mitigation as I have trained and dropped 50lbs over the last 18 months. Her skill has helped me recover quickly, and improve beyond what I thought possible @ age 49.
As an African American male I was dismayed to see the disparaging reviewer accusing Colleen of racism against African Americans and making some insulting claims In that vein. As a client of hers for many years I will say, nothing that individual said could be remotely true.
Truly sad for a good person to be disparaged in that fashion.
I am looking forward to my next appointment, back to the gym tomorrow.

I like everything, The ambience is fine and would never be a deterent nor the reason to come. I have been in massage settings that were more elaborate and beautiful but what is most important to me, the therapist and the massage itself, are excellent in Valatie, NY! Colleen is wonderful. And, by the way, the ambience is warm, welcoming, comfortable, clean, organized and peaceful. all the things that are really needed during a massage. The rest is just dressing.

Colleen notices and pays attention to trouble spots (knots in muscles) and she works them out. I always feel much better after I have had a massage! I had one yesterday and noticed that this morning I didn't hurt all over my body. I am a little sore but the pain (with the exception of a couple of small injury related areas) is gone. I went out and took a long walk.
