About Us

Body Connection Massage is a small business owned by Loretta Gmeinder, Licensed Massage Therapist. She attended the New York Institute of Massage and graduated co-valedictorian of her class in April 2015. Previous to massage therapy, she worked at the University of Buffalo for 19 years as a research interviewer on several grant funded studies in the addictions field. She received her BS in Sociology in 1999. Loretta became interested in holistic living after she healed a health condition within 6 months using homeopathy. After that, her passion continued to grow as she became a mother, explored issues surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, child rearing and holistic living. This naturally led her to Massage Therapy!

Reflexology is an ancient Chinese technique that uses pressure point massage on the feet to restore the flow of energy throughout the body. It is based on the premise that there are reflexes in our hands, feet and ears that relate to every organ and part of our body. Loretta is a gifted therapist who really listened to my issues and offered some good advice to mitigate future aches! She addressed two areas of discomfort I had and by the time I left my aches were resolved and and into the following day. Great experience and I'll be booking future appointments .... and I already have referred her to a friend.

She told me interesting facts about the importance of foot massage and how it relates to many other parts of the body. Her soft spoken voice helps with the massage. A very comfortable experience - hope to return soon.

Julie is not your typical massage therapist. She uses her intuition along with her deep knowledge of the body to help you with whatever problem you are experiencing. No massage will be the same. She has helped me significantly with my pain.
