Massage ......relaxation doesn't get any better!!!

My interest in massage began in the early 1990's.  After sustaining multiple injuries in an automobile accident, massage was what pulled me through and enabled me to get back on the move.

I attended Therapeutic Massage Training Institute (TMTI), Charlotte, NC in 1992 and completed my training with Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy also in Charlotte, NC in 1995.  I hold a license in the State of North Carolina and am well versed in Swedish, Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Neur...

I hold a license in the State of North Carolina and am well versed in Swedish, Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, and Myoskeletal Alignment Therapies.  I may also incorporate Hot stone massage, reflexology, clinical aromatherapy, and myofascial release techniques into my toolbox.

Massage can be a tool used for so many issues such as stress, relaxation, headaches, neck and shoulder pain.  Frozen shoulder, sciatica, hip, leg or foot pain.  Back pain, the list goes on and on.  The benefits are outstanding.  My choice in this career has lasted so long because of my passion for the work.  I enjoy seeing the relief and benefit it brings to my clients.

I have a private home office (located separately from my home) in Taylorsville, NC and also work in a Massage clinic in Viewmont, NC.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, working outside, playing the piano, and my newest venture is Yoga.  I obtained my certification in 2016 as a Yoga Instructor.  You can also make an appointment to have  one on one yoga instruction and unravel your stress.  Yoga is a wonderful adjunct to massage therapy.  As people age, they loose flexibility and balance.  Try Yoga and see the benefits!!

I've been going to Alison for as long as she has been in business. Suffering with Fibro & CFS, I benefit from therapeutic massages. Just wished I could go more often.

I have carpal tunnel issues and have had a very bad flare up. Allison worked on this for me. The results have been great. Although not completely cleared, the symptoms have lessened considerably. I'm going back this week for another round.
