I have been a Massage Therapist since 2005 (Soothing Arts - Destin, FL) , and a Physical Therapy Assistant since 1999 (Fisher College - Boston, MA). Integrating these two careers has served well for my patients during the last 10 years in the therapy clinics I have worked.
I am now able to take my dreams to the next phase, and run my own massage and bodywork office. What can I offer you?

General relaxation massage to improve circulation, enhance relaxation and sense of well-being, as well as improve your quality of sleep and concentration.
Also offered is a more integrated approach to massage and bodywork that can include any of the following: long, slow, and deeper massage strokes to penetrate the deeper connective tissue, myofascial stretching, trigger point therapy, and passive stretching/ROM of involved muscles.

At A New You Massage and Bodywork, located adjacent to Art Nails, my goal is to be a facilitator of your own self healing and relaxation from everyday stressors.
Tight, inflexible muscles and joints play a big part on how we feel throughout the day - from when we wake up in the morning to when we lie down to fall asleep at night. It is my goal to help you relax and return to a state of balance so that you can move about your day more freely, and sleep more soundly.
Before each of our massage/body work sessions, we will sit down briefly to discuss your goals for that session. Our goal setting will be followed by either a general relaxation massage or an integrated therapeutic massage/bodywork session targeting specific areas that are bothering you.

It was my first massage and a great experience! I used to have 2-3 tension headaches per a day, but its been three days since my session and I haven't had one yet! Julie has her clients fill out a questionnaire of your conditions beforehand. During my massage, she did a wonderful job with targeting those troubled areas. I feel like I have a new neck and back.
