My goal with massage is to help people live more active lives by re-energizing the body and reducing pain. I know what it's like to be held back by pain, but I also know that relief is possible.

I have been a very active person all my life. Growing up in Hawaii I was always running around. Whether it was riding my bike, going to the beach, or just playing outside with friends, you would never find me sitting still for long. As I got a bit older I started to practice martial arts. Over the years I've studied Karate, Kendo, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jujitsu.

I also spent 6 years in the Army where I ran and did calisthenics 5 days a week for an hour a day or more. My time in the Army was great but it really took a toll on my body. After I got out, I was having a lot of pain in my calves whether I sat, stood, walked, or ran. It didn't matter what I did, it was constant pain. I had been dealing with it for years by that point and I just assumed I'd have the pain for the rest of my life.

It wasn't until I attended massage school and we did a treatment exchange assignment where we worked on a partner over a series of massages that I found relief. After just 3 or 4 focused sessions my pain was completely gone. I was amazed. It was in that moment I became a true believer in the power of massage.

I know firsthand just how powerful massage can be. I love massage because it was the only thing that worked to take my leg pain away and I love to be able to give people the same kind of relief I felt.
