Neuromuscular massage, also known as Trigger Point Therapy-- Direct pressure is applied to specified points on tender muscle tissue to alleviate pain and tension. This is often utilized when referral pain is present. Continuing education completed in 2014, 25 hours.
Continuing education class completed in 2015, 50 hours. Myofascial Release-- Treats the connective tissue surrounding each muscle using gentle, sustained pressure to restore muscle elasticity and range of motion. It is a very slow-moving, non-invasive technique often combined with Deep Tissue and Positional Release when treating chronic pain.
Positional Release-- A very specialized technique in which the painful muscle is put into a position of greatest comfort, away from the restricted motion barrier. PR is a very mild, non-invasive technique well suited for treating chronic and/or acute pain. Continuing Education completed in 2011, 50 hours
