My Massage Therapeutic Practice Philosophy:

We are all humans, children of the world we live in: We work and exhaust our body mechanics on a daily basis. As a certified MT, I dedicate my healing hands to provide health benefits of touch to whom that crosses my path extending their well being beyond simply soothing aches & pains.

Why I do What I do:

I’ve been in the medical industry working as a lingual program counselor & dementia practitioner for AAA Best Care, Inc. I work with mental disabilities and seniors whom have Alzheimer’s disease. I have always had the compassion in caring for others until one year it hit me to the core that both of my parents were diagnose as early onset Alzheimer’s disease. I’ve been researching about Alzheimer’s Disease and that studies have shown that massage therapy does is to enhance the quality of life for Alzheimer’s patients, increase of circulation so that memory loss isn’t so apparent, helping them to relax and sleep better. I’ve realize that my passion to help Alzheimer’s disease patients became more attractive because of my parents. I believe it doesn’t get to you right away how important a disease or illness is until it affects you on a personal level. I came home one day visiting my parents & my mom started calling me the wrong names and my dad asking me where is he right now… I don’t know if it’s just me but that sharp aching feeling went straight to my heart. That exact moment was when I wanted to go back to school and be a certified Massage Therapist at Aveda Institute of Minneapolis. I wanted to help the people that brought me to this world to remember me as their daughter as much as they can because that is the least thing I can do to show my respect and love that I have for them.

I’ve grown to realize not that I just wanted to help my parents but I wanted to help everyone in the world that has illnesses and in need of a pair of healing hands. My hopes and dreams to the possibilities of one day, just one day that I can be a small part of something bigger in finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and travel to places that are in need of my heart & pair of hands.

A little bit about my beliefs:

I believe that we must develop a greater sense of Universal Responsibilities. We must teach and remind ourselves to work and love not just of our individual self, family or nation but for the benefit of humanity.
